Personal names in email certificates

Certificates of the type "Pro S/MIME E-Mail ID Gold" must contain correct personal names. Frequent incorrect entries will be blocked in future.

We would like to point out the following matter:

The name attribute "Common Name" in certificates of type "Pro S/MIME E-Mail ID Gold" must be filled as follows:

• Either with the prefix "pseudo:", followed by an arbitrary but unique pseudonym
• or with the official first and last name(s) of the person to whom the certificate is issued to.

Please note the above requirement when issuing these certificates.

In order to fulfil increased compliance requirements and to save our customers from certificate revocations, we will block frequently occurring incorrect entries of personal names before issuing the certificate. Example: A certificate will no longer be issued for the personal name "Test Test". This feature is expected to be activated on 2 April 2024.
