Phase out of SSL certificates with 3 years validity

According to the decision of the CA Browser Forum SSL certificates with a three year validity may be no longer issued as from March 1st, 2018. All customers are therefore required to redeem their already acquired codes for SSL Silver (including Wildcard) and SSL Gold (including Wildcard and Multi-Domain) certificate requests on the swisssign.net platform by February 28th, 2018 at the latest. Customers who redeem their purchased 3-year codes after March 1st, 2018 will automatically receive certificates with a two year validity only. Reimbursement is not provided.

From January 1st, 2018, SSL certificates with a three year validity will be no longer offered in the shop. The redemption of the codes up to 28 February 2018 is indicated on the web page in the shop.

In the period from January to the end of February 2018 the request possibilities for SSL certificates of the managed PKI customers will also be adopted to a two year validity period.
